Contemplative Art & Writing by Patricia Myerson
Meaningless Misadventures is a tongue-in-cheek, slice-of-life story told with self-deprecating humor and appreciation for the absurd. Using carefully chosen colors, animated text, and close cropping, the style evokes both old-school "funnies" and noir SciFi superhero comic genres. This 16 page zine follows the narrator through a series of ill-advised choices fueled by anxiety. Mercifully they lead to mostly benign results, and in the end narrator and reader are connected by the inherently imperfect nature of being human.
