Patricia Myerson lives, hikes, and draws in New England, where she shares her home with a quirky rescue cat. She has made visual art since childhood, and has a BFA in painting. Patricia has always tried to peer beyond life's surface to find what's real. She thought she had the resilience to stay grounded in the face of global suffering, given her lifetime of serious Buddhist practice plus years of work with dying people as a hospital chaplain, but in 2020 she was blindsided by cataclysmic events seemingly everywhere. The senseless horrors of that year led her to comic art as a way to find meaning in times of hopelessness. Patricia has been making comics ever since. Joining words with images enables her to combine visual art, honesty, and humor, all with a dash of love - a perfect creative medium for this lifelong spiritual seeker.
